TESTIMONIALS

From our patrons...

We attended this event and it was absolutely WONDERFUL.

Huge John Denver fan here and this concert was a great tribute to him.

Your work on the theater has made it a great place to see a show!

Will continue to see what events are coming so we can come back again!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Sincerely,

Linda Gottwald

Hello:

I wanted to drop you this email to say how much I loved tonight's A Christmas Carol.  I kept looking over at the kids and their parents and we were all loving it.  I would definitely recommend inviting them back again next year and I hope you get other emails doing likewise.  Even though I'm 51 and seeing this sans kids (I'm an A Christmas Carol affecienado), I had a fantastic time!

Sincerely,

Thom Florio

seats d2 & d4!

I was in a balcony seat and had an awesome experience. Jon (Anderson) was so much fun, great energy at the show, and the theater itself is a really terrific venue - literally not a bad seat in the house! I'll definitely be back for more shows.

It was unbelievable. Front row - felt like we were in our living room. :)

To Whom and All it may concern,

Really enjoyed the John Denver Tribute last Sunday 12-11-11,  featuring Ted Vigil and crew. Randy, who played bass, is a regular in local bands (I live in Jefferson) and was fantastic with Ted's band! He's a great guy too and I saw several of the "Scoot on Down" band he plays with in the audience enjoying the show! I saw our Lake Shawnee Club's previous board
president also. And a couple that moved to Newton a few years ago were there as well.
Small world! But that's a BIG reason why The Newton Theatre is soooo wonderful!
"It's a gathering zone not far from home."
I'd like to make it a regular thing to visit and enjoy again and again!

I absolutely love what you have done or preserved at the Newton Theatre! I went to see movies for years.....years ago there, and am so glad it is still active and looking good!
I wish you all the luck continuing to keep things going and I for one am glad I'm on your
e-mail list so I can come see more shows....soon!  Might make it to the Joey and Rory country duo my wife likes a lot and I'd love to tag along with her.

I enjoyed the Ted Vigil / John Denver Tribute so much,
if he comes back I'll be there again for sure.

Thank you very much for making The Newton Theatre a fine, yet still country classic venue, for all of us to enjoy, and I hope it lasts and lasts long into the future!

Enjoy and Peace,

Just wanted to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed the John Denver Experience and Travis Tritt. What great shows!

Would love to see Gordon Lightfoot again; he was at the Sussex VoTech a few years ago; just a suggestion.

Will come to see as many shows as budget allows - tough times, but this is worth every cent.

Thanks

Jon Anderson was amazing. We had a great time and it brought back many memories. Thanks to the ownership team at the Newton Theatre and many many hopes and best wishes for more shows like this.

Wow, attended a great concert Sat night with The Bacon Brothers, front row seats and felt like an intimate show!  They were great, the sound system was excellent, and the Newton Theatre looks marvelous.  We had the best time we’ve had in years (we don’t get out much J).  Looks like you have fantastic acts coming, and we can’t wait to come and see another terrific show!

 Thank you!

A bunch of us that graduated in 75 from Wayne…… got together and saw Christopher Cross……he was fantastic…The music was not to loud, and he interacted with the audience……It was just fantastic…..I want to give a Big Thank You to the person who turned a small town movie theater into a great concert place…..a place that people can afford,  I have purchased other tickets for other events and so have the others that came with me……cant wait to see Bobby Collins…..Thank You again…..

We were glad we came to see Bruce in the USA what a show -it was fantastic- Loved it and would come back and see them again. He looked and acted like Bruce and put his heart and soul into that show. The real Bruce would have been pleased. Thank you for bringing them to Newton.

Hello Newton Theatre,

I attended the Graham Parker and the Rumour Show last Friday night.  Just wanted to tell you how much I loved your theatre.  Having been to many, many, many concerts, in lots of different theaters, I think yours was the best.  It had the best seats, the best sound, everything about it was great.  I live just outside Philadelphia, so it was a 2 hour ride for me, and I just wanted to tell you how much I loved the Theatre.  I've been to The Keswick, Sellersville, and of course the Tower (all in and around Philly) and Newton is now my favorite.  Can't say when I'll be back, but I've told all my NJ co workers - many of whom live in your neck of the woods, how great it was.

Well done!

Hello,

I attended the Richard Marx concert at the theatre last night.  Let me first say that it was an absolutely amazing show.  I have been a huge fan of Richard Marx ever since he released Don't Mean Nothing from his first, self-titled album.  He was truly terrific last night, and I hope he will come back again.

Thank you very much,

Carmine DeGrazio

Thanks so much for the Graham Parker show it was great ! Let's make it a yearly thing.

Just want to say:  I went with my husband and some friends to the Kashmir show on Saturday!  It was PHENOMENAL!   We had such a great time.   Thanks for having them there.  I hope it was a successful event for you and perhaps you'll have them there again!

I am looking forward to attending more events at The Newton Theater.   Thanks again!

Dear Newton Theatre,

Thank you so much for hosting the Fixx last night in your cozy, intimate venue. Last night was my first time in Newton and my first time visiting the theatre and it was a fun experience all around. The show was great; we loved the music (the Fixx never disappoint!) and the theatre. I live an hour and 40 minutes away (Plainsboro), but it was definitely worth the trip. We will definitely keep an eye on your calendar and for any other shows we might be able to attend. Perhaps we'll see you again soon!

Thanks again,

Glenn P.
